We are currently inviting applications for Board Member positions on:

  • The KiP Telford Board (Charity)
  • Membership of Theme Groups

As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting KiP Telford in its mission to end homelessness and support those at risk. All Board Members must share our passion and values, and be committed to our charitable mission.

About KiP Telford

KiP Telford is a frontline charity committed to addressing homelessness through direct action, support services, and advocacy. We aim to build a Board with a broad and diverse range of skills to ensure effective governance and impactful service delivery. We particularly welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and those with lived experience of homelessness.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Project Development
  • Compassionate Engagement
  • Fundraising
  • Human Resources
  • Housing & Homelessness
  • Data Collection and IT Systems

Join a Theme Group

In addition to Board membership, we are also developing Theme Groups focused on specific areas of KiP’s work. These groups assist staff in their daily activities and strategic planning. We welcome interest from individuals with expertise in:

  • Development of Day Services
  • Social Housing
  • Strategic Financial Management
  • Communication & Engagement

Individuals with lived experience of homelessness or living in temporary accommodation are strongly encouraged to apply.

Training and induction will be provided to all successful applicants.

  • September dates TBC (Daytime or Evening)
  • March interview dates will be confirmed in early 2026
  • First stage interviews will be conducted virtually
  • Second stage interviews will be held face-to-face
