On Friday 10th October 2025, we invite you to swap your bed for a sleeping bag and join us at Madeley Cricket Club for the Telford Sleep Out, a powerful community event marking World Homeless Day.
Hosted in partnership by KiP Telford and Stay, the Sleep Out is not just about raising awareness, it’s about taking meaningful action to end homelessness in our community.

Why We Sleep Out
Every night in Telford & Wrekin, people face the fear and uncertainty of sleeping rough or not knowing where they’ll stay next. The Sleep Out offers a glimpse, just one night, into the harsh realities that too many experience every day.
By taking part, you’ll help raise vital funds to support our services and show those in crisis that they are seen, supported, and not alone.
This event is not about pretending to be homeless. It’s about standing in solidarity, raising awareness, and making a real difference, together.
KiP Telford: Local, Lifesaving Support
At KiP Telford, we’ve been providing support, compassion, and practical help to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness since 2005. From our support hub, we offer:
- Hot meals, showers, clothing, and hygiene packs
- Housing advice and access to emergency accommodation
- Mental health support and signposting
- Long-term pathways into safe, stable housing
With the help of local landlords, volunteers, and supporters like you, we’ve helped thousands move from crisis to stability, and from homelessness to hope.
The Sleep Out is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year, and every penny goes directly to the services that make this work possible.
